The Official deadline will be July 15, 2008. You guys have plenty of time, so I will not accept any entries after midnight Texas time on July 15th.

Theme: The Four Seasons - representing 1 or more of the seasons

Content, Rules, and Other Information:
The image must contain a deity of the season, not just a landscape. The deity or personification can be animal, human, or other. I want to give you guys the freedom to be creative and open-minded.
The image may be traditional media, photomanipulation, digital, 3D, or anything else you can think of. Be creative.
NO LINEARTS. The image must be entirely your own. If it is a photomanipulation, proper credit MUST be cited in the description.
The image must be complete That is, not just an outline or rough sketch. It should be completely colored or shaded if black and white.
I want you guys to be creative, so have fun with this, and be original.
You may submit up to TWO images, though only one will win or place.
The deadline will be sometime in July, so everyone has plenty of time.

Judging:
I will judge the contest, though I may call upon some help of people who have not entered if I really cannot decide.
Be creative. I want to see something I haven't seen before. I want to see originality. But, most of all, I want to see that you have had fun doing this. Make it something you enjoy doing. Even if the idea is a common one, twist it around, make it your own, have fun (I'm getting repetitive, aren't I?)
How well the season has been represented. Color, tone, mood, description, personality, and other such qualities.
Quality. How much have you pushed yourself on this? How is it compared to the rest of your gallery? Does it stand out or blend in? Have you tried something new? Experiment on this.
How eye-popping the portrayal is. Not just in color or brightness, but also in composition and tone. Something pleasing to the eye and interesting to look at.

Prizes:
First Place - 3 month subscription and a fully colored (with background) drawing of your choice. You can be as specific and detailed as you want. You may have as many characters as you want.
Second Place - 1 month subscription and a fully colored (with background) drawing of your choice. Fewer details and less specifity. You may only have one character.
Third Place - Colored character/lines, similar to my image Cascade, along with some coloring of a background.
Honorable Mention - sketched image of your choice, full shading, but no background.
